A couple of sentences/paragraphs took my eye:

This is why he has backers and banks/financiers may want in- the potential of a fortune awaiting them if this works out. Parties like Noble get guaranteed off-take. No-one is getting involved to be charitable.

A couple of years ago, WHC was $5.20 without the additional assets it has now. NT knows this company well. Next week is the final week of due diligence, so we should know soon after whether the deal is a go-er. There'll also be lots of media chatter next week, I assume. We still seem to be about 40% under the offer price of $5.20. <3 bucks down side, or $5.20 upside. It's all a risk. I'm still well underwater with an average buy in price of $4.10-$4.15. A good lesson in never buying in to these things too early.
