Spoke to a few friends who works for power companies in Vic. All of these compnaies are aware of the limited life of existing brown-coal powerstations and are looking for ways to get a return on their brown coal mines that currently supply the fuel for those stations once the power station themselves are shut-down. I noted it cannot be a technology that rely on a running power station. There are talks of 'partnership' with technology partners for this.

I also noted they are all in LV so as an export industry it will need infrastructure. However It can mean that Exergen's been speaking to existing brown coal mines that can be scaled up in the area to possibly supply a demo plant.
