They only want high profile Companies in their sights as it lifts their own standing and when they impose a hefty fine [which is in large part to recoup their own costs] they need to know they have a reasonable chance of it being paid.
On both counts we are not worth their time or effort.
If BHP acted like Newsat they would have ASIC crawling all over them.
I know of a few who have gone to ASIC over NWT and of them some have had extremely detailed and credible information. they were only paid lip service. AB still goes on his merry way.
We seem stuck between a rock and a hard place.
Had hoped [and had very real reason to believe] ExIm were going to bring the curtain down on AB but so far nothing.
If anyone feels they can stir ASIC in to action they should contact them or conversely if you do not personally have any new information ask them to explain that with the info in their possession why they have not acted.
