"Up and down, up and down

I will lead them up and down

I am feared in field in town

Goblin, lead them up and down."

    William Shakespeare,

    A Midsummer Night’s Dream

    My friends,

Well, it has been a somewhat volatile two weeks Optscan’s price action. Tiresias was not born yesterday, and in his time and has seen many ups and downs. Sometimes he's been on the right side sometimes on the wrong side, but Tiresias is confident, whatever the daily price action, being long in Optiscan, that his very much on the right side. Just think friends, Optscan is inventing a new medical specialty; real-time digital telepathology. This is transformational. This is revolutionary. This takes time.

Unfortunately, Optiscan management of the past have not been up to the task. But this Optiscan is not the old Optiscan. That misconception, that is the main reason for the sudden Optiscan price drop. The fear that this is the same old Optiscan management. This is wrong. This is a misconception, but Tiresias understands your nerves my friends. To re-iterate, this is New Optiscan. This Optiscan now has strong financial backing. This new Optiscan has strengthening board, strengthened with strong sales experience and deep and wide connections Australia and Asia. The board has been strengthened by one of the most experienced knowledgeable qualified people with the biggest firsthand experience using Optscan’s, Confocal Laser Endomicroscope(CLE) in the clinic. Optiscan’s new chairman, who has only just come on board, and has not had a chance to take a breath. The new chairman also has deep and broad connections in the healthcare world in Australia and Asia and other parts of the world. The recent rise in Optiscan’s share-price, based on these changes, and the recapitalisation of the company, was pretty spectacular. It was overdue for a correction, and it has corrected. A 50% retracement, after such a rise, would not be at all unusual. Tiresias believes that this is truly a buying opportunity.

So, are there things in the pipeline that can change this current anxiety of the nervous holders. Yes of course there are. First, the realisation amongst the nervous t holders, that there is absolutely nothing wrong in Optiscan. It is not running out of money. It will not run out of money. The technology is intact and that it will be implemented worldwide. That the time is ripe for this technology, but that it also takes time, but it will not be like the bad old days. Some announcements and much better communication of progress would be a welcome and overdue change. There are many things that Optiscan is involved in. But even Tiresias, with all his years, and with all his powers of augury, cannot accurately predict this timing. But, what would Tiresias like to hear about from Optiscan?

Well Tiresias dreams, and he dreams of announcements on some of these subjects. Tiresias would like to hear that Carl Zeiss has placed or is about to place a CONVIVO or two in Australia. Tiresias understands Carl Zeiss methodology, but he believes that Optiscan management should insist that one or two neurosurgical centres in Australia should be at the forefront of this development and should have access to an early instrument. Tiresias knows that there are neurosurgical centres in Australia which want a CONVIVO. Carl Zeiss has held back. It wants everything to go right. That is the nature of Carl Zeiss. That is the nature of Teutonic precision instrument engineers. Tiresias would like to hear of progress on the breast cancer trial and progress on the oral cancer trial. Tiresias would like to hear about entry into the other areas he has talked about: cancer of the cervix, ENT, GI, bladder. Tiresias would also like to hear about developments of new specific dyes for in vivo specific cancer diagnosis. This is the future and Optiscan is right and its epicentre. Tiresias would like to see some improved communication from the new revamped Optiscan. Tiresias would like to think that this will come soon. My friends, this is not a time of panic or fear. Everything is in place and things are happening. Of course, to reiterate, even Tiresias’ s years do not enable him know the price at which a nervous holder or trader will sell their shares tomorrow, but Tiresias does know that it will be much much higher in time. Tiresias holds, and holds strongly.
