My friends,

As may be the case with many of his friends, over the last two and half years Tiresias has missed seeing, in person, branches his family, who are domiciled in continents of the northern hemisphere. This coming week Tiresias is leaving for the United States to visit one branch of his family and then for Switzerland to visit another branch of his offspring. He will be away for three weeks. Tiresias is looking forward to his trip, though long-haul air travel is not particularly pleasurable pastime of Tiresias’s. He is therefore therefore not planning posting for his friends for the next three weeks, unless of course there is something that comes and just compels him to make a comment. The Sun the Moon and the Stars are in an interesting congregation and do tell him that there are things imminent. The exact timing of course is always difficult. Whilst in the northern hemisphere Tiresias will be spending a lot of night-time looking at the circumpolar constellations which he has not seen for three years. He will of course study the Great Bear and the Little Bear, and their eternal circuits around Polaris and what things they may portend for us all.

Before leaving, Tiresias would like to share a little something with his friends this week. Though Tiresias is blind he does have many eyes that see in other ways, and this came into focus this week. This is from an internal newsletter of the Clermont Group, the major shareholder of Optiscan.
