There is a good article in today's Courier Mail on page 7 that gives an overview of the difficulties that pharmaceutical companies face in getting product approvals in Australia (let alone the overseas issues).

Primarily the PBAC Pharmaceutical Benefits Advisory Committee only meets three times a year!

Pharmaxis is also quoted about the issues that it has faced.

I have a PDF file of the article but have not been able to copy it over to HC. If anyone can assist me with the process it would be appreciated?
