The absorbability of vitrogro is not the problem, and is not unique by a long shot. Items such as dissolveable sutures have been available a long time and is why it is class 3. The issue is the inclusion of another medical factor, such as the growth factors which determine whether or not it is 8 or 13 classification. These are not new situations either, as items like soluble stents release medications as they go. So there is current form to refer to. Why does it take so long to determine? Sorry, I can't go past ineptitude, without another reason being presented.
