WP seemed strangely distracted and hasty in that webinar.
I wonder if they had a funding/partner deal more or less lined up for the next phase of trials and at the last minute the other side of the deal demanded different terms. That might explain the mismatch between the webinar timing and the actual presentation. But I am speculating.
Regardless, while we want certainty and decisiveness etc etc, we also don't want to fund the next phase. And we can't. So any deal is going to be a hard fought agreement with some big players.
Good things take time, but there is sure as heck some very tough negotiating to go on behind the scenes. Good to have an experienced heavy hitter on our side, but the other guys are not going to be pushovers.
