It's really worth looking at ITT vs PP values here.
For the ITT population with wounds 2-12cm², the p-value is 0.0314 which is considered statistically significant, however whats even stronger is the PP population p-value is even lower at 0.0114 and that's on n=147, this really does further support the efficacy of TR987, and given the Ph3 protocol design is not changing significantly, we should (hopefully) see a similar p-value.
ITT (Intention To Treat) includes all patients originally allocated to the treatment, and PP (Per Protocol) includes only those who completed the treatment as per the study protocol. For those not familiar with ITT - its important to understand that not all patients on a trial are part of the study protocol for various reasons such as side effects, non-compliance, withdrawal of consent, or other protocol violations etc..
