Fantastic posts GLF05STI & GREYBEARD re the research done in Qld & China .This is absolute breakthrough technology,to be able to produce refractive crystals from TIO2 at a fraction of the cost of solar panels is mind blowing.
I spent most of this afternoon trying to digest the enormity & the myriad of uses this leads to .Cheap green electricity,solar power for all forms of transport & so the list goes on .
With APG'S ability to produce such a pure product cheaply we are all sitting on a winner.
When MT showed me through the plant 3 weeks ago ,while i was thinking today i remembered a passing remark he made when i was being briefed in the induction room .
His words were "when bhp came back to apg after the 3+months they had to consider whether to take a stake & back the pilot plant their representive said to MT ....Your little company has done with ilmenite WHAT BHP spent 2 billion dollars trying to do & failed .
