Sorry for going off track here, but Talbot has apparently sold his stake in Macarthur Coal for ~$650m. Will he put some of those funds into getting a bigger slice of the Karoon pie? He has already shown his interest, and getting up to 19.9% from his current 14.8% (as last reported - it may be up to 1% higher or lower) would not exactly stretch him financially.
So getting back on track, that resistance at $2.95 - $3.00 may not be there for much longer.
Hopefully there will be some media coverage in the next day or speculating on what he intends to do with his cash (if not I am obviously prepared to do so), which you imagine would touch on what he has been doing with it recently eg. Karoon. As was stated in that recent article, Karoon offers plenty of leverage.
