I commented in January that there was a double top and the long term trend line was in my thoughts at the time. When the price went through the trendline i stopped trading it for a while. I don't bother with charts too much but i have a look now and then.

I jumped back in after the initial bounce off the support below 80c but it was sold into, so i got out again at a loss this week (in at 85c, out at 80c).

I'm not convinced yet although i've got a small position at the moment. I don't think Portfolio Partners have sold their whole holding yet. Will they sell out completely or is that it for now? It could be a regurgitation of their own stock to lure a few more buyers in today.

I think the high 70's looks like a good base at the moment but you never know in this market. I hear a few analysts saying that gold stocks will be running soon as they haven't followed the price of gold in it's steep ascent.
