Yes, it's disappointing to hear that the EU hasn't stepped up with state aid. That may change as momentum continues to shift with increased tensions with China (see what France has done today with stopping subsidies for dirty electric vehicles). Talga obviously want to get going with completing stage 1 finance, it just appears that the timing is slightly out of sync with further financial support from the EU, with Talga needing finance for stage 1 before NZIA/CRMA come into play. I believe I heard one of the EU officials state in the recent Euromines debate that the Sovereignty Fund, which is where they redistribute some of the money to green projects "Made in Europe" is basically functioning right now, so we'll see. I'm still hoping that Talga can secure their equity funding through project finance as was their stated goal.
