As much as you might want an update, if there's nothing to say I think saying nothing is still the best approach. As painful as that is.
Any fluff announcement that is seen by the market as an attempt to stop a fall in a share price usually gets punished further so it's self defeating.

Management have made the decision to hold everything until the appeals decision is announced, which seemed like a reasonable strategy 3-4 months ago, but obviously different with hindsight given the lack of certainty and the market conditions for graphite not turning yet. They've decided to stick with that approach and it's probably harder to change it the longer this goes on.
Some copium: they haven't hit the panic button by releasing fluff announcements, so maybe everything is indeed ok and management are confident that the news when it comes will bring the turnaround... If you think of yourself as a long term investor, with a speculative stock like this you've really got to be prepared for a 50% drawdown. If not then a stop-loss is needed. It's certainly hard to stomach in the short term though with a bit of skin in the game.

As a side note, if they wanted to update shareholders on the Kinetic situation without actually mentioning it they could do so indirectly by releasing an updated T20. Maybe they'll do that in the next presentation that gets released? All still unconfirmed speculation at the moment though.
