If they truly were an "unelected socialist dictatorship" then why do they struggle producing weapons, artillery? Europe couldn't produce a million shells promised for Ukraine, and instead they scoured the globe buying up old stock in places like the Middle East? While North Korea got straight to work, ten million 152mm shells for Russian standard artillery, no problem.
So not quite a socialist dictatorship problem, the EU left it to the market to produce shells for profit and the market was incapable of keeping pace with Russian state sector production. North Korea outproduces Europe, as it turns out. Marx wrote that capitalism was supposed to reduce costs and this would inevitably reduce profits and lead to the decline of capitalism as a mode of production. But the Europeans have managed to disprove Marx by keeping costs of production sky high in spite of any increased productivity of labour or technological advancements.
