Swedish Group LKAB discovers significant deposits of rare earth elements in the Kiruna area. To date 1mill tonnes of rare earth oxides place this discovery as the largest of its kind in Europe.
This will become a significant building block for producing critical raw materials that are crucial to the green energy transmission.
President of LKAB (Swedish Govt mining Dept) stated "Without mines there can be no electric vehicles"
