A client can't add Talnode-Si to their anode. They could add Tal-Si to another coated spherical graphite supply and qualify the new product, but just note that would take a year or more to do so (and I can't see many cases where that would be a useful way forward). It's likely any client who is interested in Tal-Si has a clearly defined need for high specific capacity, low electrochemical potential, low cost and environmental friendliness - most battery manufacturers and auto OEMs are more concerned with cycle life atm which means Tal-C will be the preferred option for most (not all) until higher levels of confidence can be attached to anodes with high silicone additives. Think of the PR clusterf*** if a huge percentage of an EV brand's batteries didn't make it to the end of their warranty period, or could only hold 50% after 100,000kms or something.

Whatever the case, silicon is only going to provide up to 10% of the anode for the overwhelming majority of applications for many many years to come (think 5-10 at least). Source - ample just check out the research papers on si coated graphite.
