It was the left's anti immigration policy that swung the narrow victory in Sweden. A country very much divided. Social Democratics still won the most seats so it will be a coalition of center-left parties. They like mines too btw.

Putin has two options, annex the capture states, declare victory and fall back, or follow through on his rhetoric of using nuclear weapons to defend should thoes regions be attacked. NATO will likely lose the battle to win the war, they'll say they don't recognize the annexed parts of Ukraine, but secretly they'll accept it for now with a longer term plan to weaken Russian influence on worldwide energy markets before picking another fight with them.

The Russian army is on its arse, nukes are their only option and they wouldn't win that war either. India and China both saying they want a peaceful end to the conflict too so we could see a sham ending soon, maybe even tomorrow after Putin's address to the nation.
