The County Advisory Board does have to take into consideration all claims of use to the land, but priority will be given to mines for a sustainable Europe. Not a chance this stops the mine, where in Norrbotten the share of votes for the pro-mining social democrats was 42%, while the greens won 3.5%. I doubt that the incoming center-right coalition government has any major qualms about mining, even if they are perhaps not quite so stridently for it.
Permits and financing are eventually guaranteed.
