    It's easy to become anxious when reading such articles.

    After all the talk we've seen from the EU Commission and Swedish Government (including local) can you imagine the embarrassment and outcry if permits are denied?

    Denial of permits wouldn't just be egg on the face of the government officials, but would be a devastating blow to the green transition that they've talked so much about. The EU commission is ready to ratify the Net-Zero Industry Act on 9-10 February. Imagine if the only natural anode producer in Europe gets the axe in the background.

    This would also be terrible optics to any company wanting to invest in the European green industry and particularly Sweden. Keep in mind companies are already being lured away to the US by the IRA. If a modern mine with a very small footprint that rehabilitates simultaneously cannot get approval, then what chance do others have?

    What rocks the boat more? A hammer blow to the green transition or upset Sami?
