Talga have stated that Talnode-Si is 50% silicon and is a drop in solution to existing anode chemistries. According to Talga its 40% increase in energy capacity has been confirmed by a global EV manufacturer with cells containing up to 9% of Talnode Si as an additive.
I’m pretty Sila Nanotechnologies were the first to claim commercial application of a silicon anode drop in back in 2021 with the Whoop wearable fitness device.
