The latest Ev credit guideline released by US treasury last night is further testimony of how important (and determined) the US is in cutting supply chain from China.
the $7500 credit is split in half into Critical mineral & Battery components (worth $3750 each). In order to qualify for the full $3750 credit in each part, the EV manufacturer must meet the % of locally processed or sourced from countries with free trade agreements.
EU doesn't have free trade agreement with US, but I don't think it's going to take them long to follow the US with a similar guideline, which will further support the case for Vittangi permit!
