I wouldn't be surprised to see MT playing a dead bat on the offtakes. The market wont be happy, but MT would be thinking about the long term value of his shares, not the value next week.
The big problem with a binding offtake agreement is that you have to lock in something about PRICE. You certainly don't want to lock in today's price, because tomorrow's is going to be much better. After taking inflation into account: much much better.
After all, for European battery manufacturers and their anodes; Talga is the only player in town.
