Getting the environmental approvals done for both the mine and the factory, with no major appeals hanging over them, is a huge step forward for TLG. I'm personally discounting the likelehood of any supreme court appeal on the mine as this seems a very small possibility indeed, given the known statistics of getting an appeal accepted by this court. These major steps forward should be making a difference to the SP, but we are still at the low end of the range where its been for the past 3 years. Back in Nov 2020, it touched $2, and it is crazy that we are still at $1.40 given all the advances and de-risking that has occured over that time. Surely the SP must be now due for a re-rate ? For goodness sake, they will begin construction of the main factory in a few days time, and Mark has stated that they have more funding offers than they need to finance the project.
