Whilst I 100% agree with everything your wrote - it might be pertinent to correct one detail for any new folks who are not fully up to speed on this: The mine permit is already approved - as of 6th April 2023.
Not only that, but the court has not granted leave to to try the appeals which were submitted. What is now before the supreme court is the "appeal of the appellants right to appeal" - i.e. not even the mine permit itself, but just the decision to reject their opportunity to appeal.
There is not a snowflake in hell's chance that this mine is going to have it's permit revoked - for all the reasons you mentioned and more. China then deciding to weaponise graphite supply last week is just the icing on the cake as we move towards production. None of which will come as much of a surprise to long term holders here.
