I haven’t made any military prognostications, I think you’re confusing me with someone else.
As for the FT article, I’m not sure of the relevance to anything here. But purchasing power parity doesn’t compare the quality of goods in countries, so no surprise that China’s economy is larger under that metric with over 4x the population.
