Some movement from the courts. It looks like Talga has now completed the final conditions of financial security for the anode plant.

Notice in environmental matters - probationary period report

The Umeå District Court, the Land and Environmental Court, has by partial judgment on 21 June 2023 left
Talga AB permission to construct and operate a plant for refining graphite concentrate
and manufacture of battery anode materials and nitrogen gas as well as for certain water operations within
the properties Luleå Hertsön 11:1 and 11:1010. The partial judgment became final on July 12, 2023.

As far as interest is concerned, the court deferred the question of which final conditions should apply to
financial security. The court ordered Talga AB to investigate the issue of financial security
linked to the disposal and disposal of the maximum amount of contemporary stored hazardous
waste in the form of sludge from purified process water (U2). Talga AB has now joined
account of U2 and demands that the Land and Environment Court close the adjourned matter
and prescribe final terms of financial security.

Comments regarding the probation report (file attachments 145–147) must be submitted
in writing to Umeå District Court, Land and Environmental Court, Box 138, 901 04 Umeå or via e-
mail [email protected] no later than February 23, 2024. Enter complete contact details
and preferably also e-mail address in the statement. Also enter the court case number M 1826-22.
The issue may be settled without a main hearing.
