Yes, the Niska expansion (400ktpa for 85ktpa of anode) will also require new permits, but this will likely be a much more streamlined process under the CRMA. Because they still have to go through this permitting process, they may reevaluate/increase the stage 2 expansion to take full advantage of being named a strategic project.
