Yeah the consumer is usually the last to know. I’ve bought H&M stuff before it was revealed they were using camps in Xinjiang- their stock was wiped out by 25% when it was revealed.
It’s why new 2025 labelling as part of the ‘ battery passport’ is a good step to keep companies honest and accountable and adds ‘ value’ to a product- such as Talga’s wholly EU and low emission graphite products ( apart from other benefits).
