Over on the politics thread I just got told that China "will inevitably choose trade with Europe & the US over Putinist stupidity."
Well over here in EVs and in clean fuels we are hoping for China trade to be blocked, or are we? Australia is not about to sanction China, as I pointed out, so Australia is sanctioning Russia instead, but Australia is a special case, or is it? So that would effectively mean no EVs produced in Australia, but Europe likely follow the US lead and block China trade?

Annalena Baerbock was just on the ABC, telling how Germany and Ukraine are going to win the war against Russia, yeah with what army, is she reporting from some parallel universe? I gather the main reason for her visit was to push some hostility against China and to get closer trade ties between Germany and Australia. I didn't see the entire interview.
