Becoming both boring and parochial.

First the Yanks are working at wrecking their currency by trying to buy back what, in pursuit of selfishness, they threw away.

Second the Europeans are tripping over outmoded legislation. Do they resent our counter hemispheric colonisation of resources?

Virtually nowhere has the future materials and mining know-how that Australia has, particularly WA, so why don't we just go with the flow, and both identify with and expand from our region?

Less and less likely that anybody wants to be share the same corrosive antisocial and "moral" values of the USA. They and some of us, Murdoch excepted, need to wake up to that.
