Two weeks on from Talga’s letter to the SC asking for the case to be given priority and nothing from the court not even an acknowledgment that can only reinforce the view that Sweden is not a good place to do business especially if you want to be part of the green transition.

Oh, and isn’t the company also expecting a response to its request for the government to step in and get the development plan finalised that the municipal council has been sitting on for the last four years.

There is either a massive disconnect between the national government’s climate change and Green transition objectives and the bureaucracy or the National government is happy for China to run the show.

Will the CRMA turn these processes around in the short term? No, because it takes time for new processes to be bedded in.

what is needed is for the federal government to grasp the nettle and show leadership. If the Green transition is to find a home in Sweden that means issuing directions and or passing whatever legislation is needed to ensure that the courts and local government understand the nation’s priorities and have the resources to carry out their obligations in a timely manner.
