By Monday it's 12 months since the SC appeal was lodged, with no decision.. As others have pointed out there was 0% chance after looking at the 3 year history of decision making of the case being held up this long.

What I can't get my head around is that I have seen that the average turnaround time is 2-4 months. Our case was filed on the 29 Sep, so cased filed at the same time, with the maximum turnaround time of 4 months it would likely be resolved by 29 Jan. If then a new case was lodged on 31 Jan maximum likely resolution puts us at 31 May.

On 31 May an entirely new case is file resolution and resolve by 30 Sep.

So working with that 4 month maximum turnaround 3 new cases have been resolved. With an average turnaround time that 4 cases.

Something is not right. There is nothing to get a grip on to be able to judge the timing of a likely decision. Oct, Nov and Dec 2024 seems as likely as Jan, Feb and Mar 2025. I can't ignore even an 18 month or even a 2 year decision period.

If something has never happened before, when will it finally surface.

So what is it that we don't know?
