Yes, my sentiment as well. We have been sitting out a long and protracted process, that has seen the permit awarded, then appealed and lost and now sitting in the last place before it can be released, either without challenge or some tweaking. There has been many thoughts formed on why it has taken so long, I note the latest that it was being handled by a judge who is on sick leave and was sitting in a pile of unfinished business that no one had bothered to deal with. We also had a scenario that showed a process of the case being given to one department, then forwarded to another specialist department, as is quite common in complicated cases, then returned to the original department. It was assumed that in this scenario that certain important areas were reviewed by the specialists and then returned to be prepared and eventually signed off by a particular judge(s). Both of these scenarios brought to us in the last month, so they may have merit but who knows. I will be intrigued if those of who asked the SC for a timeline or a diary of the case whether those will be forthcoming. I would have thought in such a place where all is supposedly fair and equal there would be an obligation to tell people at what stage or where in the process these appeals are. They are considered in the public domain, aren't they?
There are times I think my shares will be sold to fund my wake, I hope those who turn up for a free drink are disappointed.
Thank you Mark and the board for the loyalty shares, there have been a few on here who were sceptical of the issue, but when your life is in the hands of the SC and we originally thought 4 months was the time it would take to be determined, so I appreciate them. Yes the company quietly gets .55cents pershare if all goes well in the next 12 months, but we got something for our patience.
We must be in the final furlong with the finish line in sight, every morning I wait to see if there is news and one day soon there will be. All I can say is the people running this whole show have a lot at stake and the frustration of each day must be more than I could take.
