the problem of refining someone else’s product is it has to first go through the whole qualification process. If you refine other metals such as nickel or copper or silver, you get a marketable, reliable product/commodity. With graphite, every deposit is different, so the final products are custom tailored, from the raw material, and based on the customers needs. That is why this qualification process takes so long. I believe that Talga is well along on that metric and probably has a jump on many competitors. Syrah is building a BAM in I think Louisiana but I can’t imagine a very big margin if they use their own product from off the east coast of Africa. They do have a massive deposit, but at only 5% grade. So I do not believe Talga will be refining anyone else’s product...at least for the foreseeable future. I do wonder though if Leading Edge Materials ore, also in Sweden, is in any way like Talgas?
