Seem to recall indicated and inferred resources were estimated at 250m tonnes several years ago there was also mention of an 18 km strike length 400 m wide open at depth, below the 250m depth they’ve drilled to.
At the AGM MT talked about a 4 km strike even at that figure If the orebody’s continuous at 250m depth we’re talking 400 m tonnes of ore (4000 x400 x 250) at a tonne to the cubic metre or about 100 m tonnes of anode.
Allowing 100 kg of graphite per battery gives us enough anodes for a billion EVs, that equates to ten years production of all types of vehicles at current levels.
That sounds like enough right? Apparently not.
They’re partnering with LKAB to go underground as well so potentially multiples of that figure.
Either the orebody isn’t shoe box in shape and so contains way less ore than my figures suggest or something else in the battery space or graphene space is cooking.
