One thing I haven't seen discussed yet is the series of gut-punches Big Oil took last week:

Most notably, the Environmental Activist Hedge Fund Engine No. 1 was able to secure at least two and possibly three board seats on Exxon Mobil with the support of Black Rock, Vanguard, and State Street. This may end up being a pivotal moment for ESG and could trigger a cascade of investment into green energy as retail investors begin to catch on to the shift that Wall Street is already making.

Also note-worthy, Engine No. 1 is using the publicity to launch an ETF intended to prod companies to reduce Carbon Emissions or face the same fate as Exxon (a shareholder showdown for control of the board room). It will be interesting to see what kind of investment this ETF draws considering that its primary purpose isn't immediate ROI but applying green pressure to carbon emitters.
