While we wait for our highly anticipated good news this week and beyond...., The Faraday Institution' s latest Insight 'Sodium-ion Batteries: Inexpensive and Sustainable Energy Storage" is a great read, given CATL*'s recent announcement that they'll start production of Sodium-ion batteries (NIBs) next month (July 2021). (*included in MT's presentation list of OEMs)
As LTH's know from Talga's ASX ann on 26 March 2018, Talga is a consortia partner of Innovate UK ‘Faraday Battery Challenge’
programs which includes sodium-ion technology R&D for which "Talga will develop and supply the anode materials".
It would be great to get MT's latest updates on Talga's involvement in this program (as well as the others!) as they've promised.
Do any of our technical long-time posters have any further detail to update us in the meantime? zoulou? sithas? saggito? Love to hear from you...
