The key is LKAB and underground mining. LKAB operate the most advanced underground iron ore mine in the world at Kiruna.
This will limit environmental impact significantly for a large scale mine. Not to mention the land plan, once approved in Q1 CY22, covers the entire Nunasvaara area.
Talga submitted draft plans to the SGU for the 500ktpa underground mining earlier in the year and the submissions were considered "solid" with comments focused to the water implications. I don't believe Talga will submit plans for the permits this quarter unless they were expecting them to be granted.
