no worries yeah so once you’ve got the graphite ore into a concentrate , you then purify it , then if you imagine a hexagon 5-20 nanometers in size- that’s the graphite flake (PGr).
You’ve got to knock off the corners ( it round it). To get it to just the right size n shape ,it takes many times to get that right.
If yr graphite flake the the right size ( small) , and shape , and consistent throughout the ore you get good recoveries.
If yr flake is large, wrong shape and mixed with flake of other sizes then when you process it you loose a huge amount of what you started with.
Then you got a graphite powder.(SPGr) THEN you have to start the difficult thing which is the coating....
Take particles ( different binders, carbon types ,metals?) of only a few microns , then powder coat in many runs until you built up the right thickness.
