Transport buyers Kaunis Iron, LKAB, Talga,Boliden, the Polar Bread Group intend to:
- order/procure electric transport
- invest in depot charging for heavy truckswithin and outside their own area of operation
- use public fast chargers along transport routes
- invest in electrification solutions for heavy goods vehicles.mining trucks
- where possible, using rail for transport to contribute to overall truck reductionand more trains
- monitor the work and systematically work on knowledge gathering and information disseminationto help speed up electrificationof heavy transport; and
- actively participate in studies to analyse the feasibility of electrified transport solutions.
