    If there was a problem with the anode material it is more likely the cause of the problem is from smaller mines with inconsistent flake size.

    One of the presenters from the Paydirt conference earlier in the year on the Q and A panel with MT had the following to say on this topic.

    "The reason producers use more synthetic than natural flake is, it is less variable than natural flake. Why is natural flake variable? Well it comes from China and the Chinese mines by definition are small. [...] The big anode producers are trying to blend away the problems. And there is only so much you can blend away before you need to add C30. What I see is happening is the future of natural flake comes back to large mines that can produce boring, homogeneous feedstock that is consistent and a the more consistent feedstock you put into a battery the greater you can dilute away the synthetic."

    It is more likely due to the above Talga will see more demand as there doposit very consistant in size and more suitable as a input battery material.
