The structural aspect of concrete is not the concrete itself, but rather the steel imbedded in it when it is poured. The concrete must be poured continuously so that it cures at the same time avoiding to avoid cracks that would jeopardise the integrity of the steel. The construction industry uses steel that is part embedded in the previous pour between floors in medium tall buildings, but in hydro electric dams where the integrity is critical to avoid any cracks/fissures for water under pressure to undermine the structure the pour is continuous 24/7 until it is concluded and cured.TLG are using waste material for their Talcrete, which also includes very small amounts of graphene to give the ensuing material greater strength and therefore less concrete to achieve the desired engineered outcome. This was tested by TLG several years ago. The waste material will not be available until volume mine starts.
