Yeah I have seen that as well and it makes sense what he describes. The problem is, I dont understand the premise. If we have 3x more power than we need and the cost is close to 0, how do these systems make sense financially? The cost of providing the solar power plant remains the same, and if we have more power than we use the project only gets payed the power it actually can sell. So while scaling your system to about 3x the average use is fine, the cost of the power cant reduce to next to nothing simply because they can only sell a fraction of it.

Anyhow, I hope a system like that is the future, even if its not exactly like that.

Furthermore, I think he looses creadabiity to call the access power not just that, but superpower. Makes for a very bad intentional pun that reduces the chance this gets discussed in serious business. That was a tactical mistake. My opinion obviously.
