I was reading in Elandcables (the old school of thought) was to try to coat aluminium with copper to get the best attributes of both, but surely that sets up a corrosive cell between dissimilar metals, which they didn't mention so maybe they have dealt with that issue, but either way a coating of graphene is just so much better, you don't have two dissimilar metals and should also stop oxygen from getting to the aluminium, so maybe no scale of Aluminium oxide on the surface.
