Completely agree.
If I were a NVX investor,I would have been delighted with that request from Telsa.
Noting, it was only a request. Not sure on the likelihood of the US dropping the import taxes from China. Coupled with the fact that China will need all the anode material they can possibly produce for their own internal market.
The EU are unlikely to allow imports from China too, the introduction of Battery Passports, whole of life assessments, and the EU's desire to secure local supply chains.
All of this works in favour of every battery related company outside of China.
The market is a jittery place, at the best of times, never mind in the middle of a pandemic.
