LKAB mines 50 ktpd (kilotons per day) at Kiruna. MT's first submission was for 100ktpa (kilotons per annum). Lkab mines more in 2 days than Talga's first mine will produce in a year. Lkab mines 24/7 according to their press releases.
Even the full 100ktpa anode mine of vittangi is 400ktpa ore per year, only 8 days worth of mining for dear old Lkab. Their volumes are so immense.
