It's mainly about the detailed plan that a handful of activists within the municipality will try to reject, not because there's a problem with the plan, but simply because it's for a mining project.

Perhaps there is a slight nudge there too for the Supreme Court, however I doubt there is anything further regarding the court itself. If the company voiced discontent specifically about the slow court process, the rabid media would have certainly reported it. It's frustrating, but I think Talga are still happy to let the appeal play out in the court, this is because the court should not have an agenda, whereas we know how the municipal board's committee will likely go. Talga have basically pre-empted this by going straight to the government, who understand the importance of the Vittangi Project.
