"Yesterday, large parts of the mining and mineral cluster in Sweden gathered to talk about Sweden's future mineral strategy. We met a committed minister Ebba Busch and her city secretary Sara Modig. Also participating were Luleå University of Technology, Uppsala University and SGU

Some of the messages that emerged from the industry were that:

We welcome that a mineral strategy is now being drawn up.

A vision for Sweden as a mining and mineral nation was requested.

Concrete measures should complement the vision in a number of important areas

The strategy must of course be linked to the EU's critical raw materials act, but also include other strategically important resources for Sweden - for our preparedness and our important value chains

The industry looks forward to continued dialogue about the strategy!"
