You're missing a really important fact:
A big reason markets and directors differ in their evaluations is they have different information available to them.
Directors know more than markets (about the company at least).
MT has been dropping some pretty big hints about what he knows, and that his (vague) valuation is based on information that is not yet able to be shared with the market.
Money is made by getting in during that sweet spot between the director knowing something good is happening, and the rest of the market finding out something good is happening. Gotta fill in that gap with your own research/ understanding/ risk profile
